Initial Disclosure Document
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the independent regulator of financial services. The FCA require Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions Ltd to provide you with a document called the 'Initial Disclosure Document' to help you decide if our services are right for you. This document provides information about Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions Limited, the products we offer, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, who regulates us, what to do if you have a complaint, and details about the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
About Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions
Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions Ltd is a limited company and our registered address is The Sanctuary, Eden Office Park, Ham Green, Bristol, BS20 0DD. This is where we are based, should you ever want to come and meet the team. We are an independent credit broker and not a lender. This means we provide motor vehicle finance brokerage services to customers via third party providers on business and personal contract hire agreements, from which we receive a commission which will affect the price you pay.
The Services we provide.
We will provide you with general information about our finance products and answer any questions you might have, and we will send you quotations based on the rates offered by our selected funders. Throughout this process we will ask for information regarding your personal circumstances and objectives, to help us identify your needs. You will not receive advice or recommendation from us, but it is important you provide us with accurate information to help us narrow down the selection of different funders' details and information we send you.
The products we use.
As a Financial Conduct Authority regulated credit broker, we may introduce you to a range of finance providers who may be able to help you finance your vehicle and provide other products/services, such as vehicle maintenance and servicing packages.
We will only offer products from a carefully selected panel of finance providers. We will not refer you outside of this panel. You can ask us for a list of the suppliers who provide our finance.
The charge for our services
We do not charge any upfront fees for our broker related services. However, a document fee will be charged at point of order. The document fee is the broker fee charged by Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions for our service and represents the costs incurred for arranging the sale, ordering the vehicle, arranging the finance and organising delivery of the vehicle. £195.00 + VAT or £234.00 inclusive of VAT. This document fee is payable by debit/credit card or by BACs payment and is taken once finance approval has been received, along with all relevant paperwork signed by yourself instructing us to place an order on your behalf.
We are a commission and fee-based organisation which means we may receive payment(s) or other benefits from finance providers should you decide to enter into an agreement with us. These fees may be variable or pre-set dependent on the product and volume that we place with the chosen supplier.
In the unlikely event that you wish to cancel after you have signed our Terms of Business and orders have been placed etc, we may charge a fee as per our Business Terms of Business. £250.00 + VAT or £300 inclusive of VAT.
Finance Commission
The Finance Provider will pay us a commission once the vehicle is delivered, and the Finance Agreement is live. Subject to the Finance Provider the commission we receive may be pre-set at a fixed value or may be discretionary.
Finance Commission is payable for facilitating the finance processes from the point you order your vehicle such as:
The Finance Commission is included in the lease costs paid by you over the duration of the Finance Agreement, and as such has a bearing on your monthly lease cost you pay.
The Finance Commission is disclosed on the Order Form.
Marketing Support
The Finance Provider may pay us Marketing Support once the vehicle is delivered, and the Finance Agreement is live. Subject to the Finance Provider the Marketing Support we receive may be pre-set at a fixed value or may vary within a range subject to KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
Marketing Support is a contribution towards our promotional costs such as:
The Marketing Support may be included in the lease costs paid by you over the duration of the Finance Agreement, and as such may have bearing on your monthly lease cost you pay.
The Marketing Support is disclosed on the Order Form.
Vehicle Supplier Commission
The Vehicle Supplier may pay us commission once the vehicle is delivered and/or the Finance Agreement is live.
Where the Vehicle Supplier pays us a commission from their vehicle supply margin it is not included in the lease costs paid by you over the duration of the Finance Agreement.
Where the Vehicle Supplier arranges the Finance Agreement on our behalf, they will receive a Finance Commission from the Finance Company. The Vehicle Supplier may pay us a proportion of this commission payment, which is included in the lease costs paid by you over the duration of the Finance Agreement, and as such has a bearing on your monthly lease cost you pay.
The Vehicle Supplier Commission is disclosed on the Order Form.
Manufacturer Commission
The Manufacturer may pay us commission once the vehicle is registered and delivered. Subject to the Manufacturer the commission we receive may be pre-set at a fixed value or may vary within a range subject to KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
The Manufacturer Commission is not included in the lease costs paid by you over the duration of the Finance Agreement.
The Manufacturer Commission is disclosed on the Order Form.

Bluepoppy Vehicle Solutions is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our registered address is The Sanctuary, Eden Office Park, Ham Green, Bristol, BS20 0DD. Our Register Number is 723518. You can check this on the Financial Services Register by visiting the FCA’s website at www.fca.org.uk or by contacting the contact centre on 0800 111 6768.
Some services that we offer are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. However, the Financial Ombudsman Services has now been extended to handle some complaints under the Consumer Credit Act.
We are a broker member of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) with which we must adhere to industry standards of service and delivery. Our membership number is 2107.
We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for the purposes of Data Protection, our registration reference is ZA037474 .
Dispute Resolution and Complaints
We work hard to ensure that the services we offer are fair and that our communication to our customers is clear and not misleading. However, if you are unhappy with our service and you wish to register a complaint, please contact us in writing.

To help us resolve your problem, you should provide the following information:
We will answer any complaints as quickly as possible but always within eight weeks.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
You may also be entitled to compensation from the Scheme if we are unable to meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
